Pros

Great place to work. Everyone is extremely friendly and caring. Company is caring and is strongly involved in improving the quality and safety of the refinery. If I get a chance to work for them again, I definitely wouldn't hesitate.

Cons

Old office building but safe and protected from potential accidents from neighboring refinery. Alkylation unit is extremely close to the parking lot and with the right wind, chemical exhausted from the Alky unit could potentially damage your car. Luckily you can park on the other side which is a bit farther from the Alky unit but still close enough for chemicals to damage it. Not many cons about Total. Good and caring company.

Very good working environment excellent grooming of individuals and progression programs. People are friendly and respectful. Chances of finding new projects are more often

Cons

Cross functional assignments need to be in place..there should be a more rigorous system of performance appraisal which ensure the high flyers get the right path

huge company, supposedly great opportunities , strong leadership, technologically excellent, and of course the usually good french people

Cons

too big to really address some issues, a lil aloof from the issue of career development of the employee , lack of complete information sharing, not great competency mapping
