Pros
if you're lucky to join at a good salary, and also have a decent manager - then you may be able to overlook all the issues. negotiate hard when you join: their hiring budget is much bigger than their retention budget. professional environment with opportunity to grow. bonuses are decent, perks are good, health insurance isn't bad.
Cons
if you are lucky enough to get a promotion/title change - don't expect a change in your compensation. the days of appropriate % increase are gone. you don't even get more than 10% if you jump 2 titles currently. senior management are not nurturing or supportive. intense politics and favoritism. doesn't function at all as an MNC. looking to jump ship ASAP. some low contributors are protected and coddled due to favoritism/boot licking. there are restrictions on career growth but not for the favorites. very high workload. never perform at 100% here, you will only ever get a pat on the back and more work. incredibly bureaucratic, not at all agile or lean - very old school way of working. one VP very openly swears in his native tongue at whoever his victim is for the day.
