Some nice people but “lead attorneys” are no help. If you ask for clarification on a case or ask to brainstorm it will lead to them going over your entire case load looking for some gatcha moment of something you did wrong.

Cons

Huge concerns for your bar license! This place is a MESS! They are constantly missing hearings and try to blame the attorney. They will schedule you to be at two different cities at the same time, then try to blame you for not being present at one of the hearings. Clients are constantly being left in court without an attorney to represent them. They will assign morning hearings to you overnight then get upset that you are not there. Also submitted E-27 on your behalf to try to get the owner out as primary attorney and if a problem arises it is your license at risk! Terrible place, not worth your time. Please run away! If you are not in Los Angeles time they will bother you at all times outside of working hours then be upset if you don’t answer the phone. Clients are always upset, just save yourself the headache and run away from this place!

The worst experience ever

There is nothing positive to say about this place.

Cons

Extreme micromanagement. They care more about what you did in 8 hours than if you are actually doing a good job. They expect you to fix problems even from other offices. When I worked in Dallas they gave me cases from Los Angeles, Fresno and Las Vegas that have not been touch in YEARS. They expect you to do magic and complete cases in no time. People come and go everyday. They only care about the money and they are scammers. They lie to clients and tell them they are elegible for something when they are not. They collection techniques are too aggressive to the point of using threats and insults. Clients are angry and dissatisfied overall. Management is a joke. If you a problem you’re on your own. They hire people without experience (including Attorneys) and give them work without even proper training. The meetings are a joke and everybody just pretends to be doing something.

You learn skills, so there is that.

Cons

Professional development here is a joke. You don't feel supported here. This firm is a primary example of the bad stereotype law firms get. You have to be the favorite of management to get a promotion If you are not the management's favorite of the department, then you are screwed. The environment is very high school energy even though they are grown adults. Very unprofessional environment, with angry clients, clients being robbed financially, and high turnover. People don't last long here and then the company wonders why. Lack of work-life balance. Avoid it. They don't care about your well-being.
