The best thing about working for the Container Store is the people. The majority of the staff is well qualified problem solvers who excel at customer service. The benefits that are offered to employees is also very good. Part time employees can qualify for health insurance, and the company offers a 4% match to 401k contributions.
Cons
The major downside of working full time for the Container Store is the schedules. The time restrictions on the full time staff allow for very little personal time on work days. It is extremely hard to accomplish personal goals when working full time at the container store. The final item is the level of interaction the management has with the staff. The management team spends too much time in the back room, and too little time on the sales floor with the staff.
