Their annual review process leaves you feeling motivated and ready to take on additional challenges. They share pertinent company information with more people than who actually needs to know so everyone can see the results of the work they are doing.

Cons

I really don't have anything negative to say about the company. They do an outstanding job listening to their employees and ensuring we have the right tools to do our jobs well.

I LOVED working for TCS in Arlington! I started out as a seasonal employee, but was accepted as PT when it was over. Every one there was absolutely phenomenal. They were looking for ways to help me as an associate and really showed me what team work was like.

Cons

No cons for me when I was there.

A full page ad each year in the New York Times declaring The Container Store's love for their employees.

Cons

Terrible communication. Limited hours and uneven scheduling. Poor part time 'benefits'. ZERO chance for promotion and growth. ZERO. You're never going to be doing more than what they hired you for in the first place. No upward mobility. Core values of company are admirable, but all theory and no application.
