Pros

The empowerment to make the customer happy. Supports associates decision making process. Great training process. Team approach is great, everybody works and they have a hiring practice that works.

Cons

Hard to get full time. I really can't say anything bad, except retail always involves weekends. Sometimes parking is difficult in the Bellevue store, due to large mall location.

Pros

The employee discount is generous, 40% off, and 50% off of elfa. They don't keep crazy retail holiday hours. Employees mesh together very well.

Cons

They require 4 weeks notice for time off requests, which can be difficult to plan for life in general. We are lucky if we get 5 days notice of our work schedule. Not even a week! Raises are minimal and instead of focussing on the goals that have been achieved since previous review, they nit-pick at trivial topics with no explanations or examples of occurrence.
