Pros

The company was founded on great values and it works with various organizations that promote human rights. Many ingredients in their product are natural and community trade.

Cons

The body shop is a great place to work. I'm just not sure that their is much position mobility in the sense of promotions to a higher level. I don't think it is possible to make a career at the Body Shop.

Pros

The quality of products, but that has changed. Used to be fun.

Cons

Corporate employees are always changing. Too many sales lowered the quality of the product. Many products are now made in China. No support from DM's. Favoritism is rampant. Managers are expected to buy supplies without reimbursment. Poor communication all around. Slow POS systems-Not employee friendly. No email access-Managers expected to use their own computers. Low pay for tenured employees, new Managers hired at much higher saleries. No development or support for store managers. Targets raised at corporate whim. And most unattainable. Out of stocks and discontinuations impact the business. Stores that are not profiting can make bonus but stores that are profiting might not. Lack of consistancy in HR issues. Waste and excess for a supposed 'green' company. Lack of new ideas. Turnover is so high that it might be a new idea to corporate but to long time employees and customers it is the same old, same old! No new products.
