      When French usage and Benefits meet Singapore Old School Management

      Pros

      International group with French roots ensuring the employees are generally looked after. Singapore office working on almost all of Thales domains and generating a big revenue compare to its size, we have the luxury to receive visits from all the group "big shots". And being only 650 employees or so, we end up close to them and really exchanging with them. It is always a great insight on what the group does globally and how we (I, myself) play a pat in the group's strategy.

      Cons

      Like any other company in the world, Thales is suffering from the trendy tendencies dictated by the industry and like most groups, did not manage to implement "Digital Transformation" or "Diversity & Integration" or "Any-trendy-word" better than any other. Not worse... But no better.

      Pros

      PTO Relaxed environment even with past deadlines Will grow and climb the ladder quick if you're french and based on who you hang out with.

      Cons

      Senior management wants control over everything. Too many managers everywhere. Several incompetent in their roles. Favoritism across the board, HR is clueless. Their own turnover rate is ridiculous. Bare minimum opportunities for those that can do the work and want to make a difference. But Thales only likes to promote people who are sitting idle over years adding no value and eating away the salary cap. No vision or clarity on what's next for the company.
