Pros

Great corporate culture of individual empowerment. Employees are given their own work phone/iPad/laptop. Some traveling required for training and National meetings. Terumo is good about expensing these costs to the company. Solid leadership in management.

Cons

Training, especially for those outside the medical space, may be too intensive if there is not a genuine understanding/interest in the medical field. Expected to learn anatomy/medical terminology/products and their features/competitive products. I don't think of this as a con but this certainly requires more learning than most 9-5 careers. Challenging training but very worthwhile.

Pros

I will probably forget a number of pros as I generally really enjoyed my tenure with this company. - Excellent flexibility in day to day work in hours worked, agendas, and getting time off - Great employee development - Fantastic interdepartmental communication - Genuine work environment with intelligent and focused individuals - Very little micromanagement which worked well with competent coworkers - Appeared to have transparent communications across management levels - Definitely above average benefits

Cons

- There was a small wave of contractor layoffs - High FDA regulation causes the company to jump through some unnecessary hoops which leads to some process inefficiencies at multiple levels. May cause some tedium for those unfamiliar with such environments but should not be much of a downside to even those who are new to such settings. Still could be worth noting however? - Strictly from a monetary compensation it may have been slightly below average but benefits and such seemed to push it up above for total compensation. It's hard to make a generalized statement about averages without total information however. I honestly can't think of too much else. Again, I had a great experience.
