There is no pension plan.

In terms of career growth, this is not the place to be. Management and leadership are constantly being replaced by expats, and it makes you question if you will ever get promoted. Many of them were rude and didn’t care for their employees. The annual review process is a joke. I had switched positions a year earlier and my previous manager (not current one!) was the person to manage my review. They didn’t even consult with my current manager to see how I had performed that year. This affected my personal career development, bonuses, and raises during my time here. After the oil layoffs, only the top tier employees were left. A majority of these remaining employees were forced to move to Bay City and if they refused to move they weren't given any sort of severance or unemployment benefits. This led many employees to question why they had tried so hard not to get laid off in the first place. In addition, every task here was an urgency and led to many stressful days. Most people only perform well to avoid getting bullied by management.
