- Diversity and inclusion is a facade. There is no actual team devoted to diversity and inclusion and the vast majority of the executive team is made up of white males. Business resource groups simply keep up the status quo and are not given autonomy nor leadership support to make actual change. - After being a manager at the company for many years, once I gave my notice I was not addressed by anyone in leadership and was not given an exit interview. Teladoc is too big and does not care about employee opinion. - Compensation is filled with red tape and it is almost impossible to get a straight answer. Compensation and job leveling is not in line with industry standards.

Some of management is brutal. With unfair expectations that range from unethical to borderline illegal. Depending on your manager you can expect regular phone calls to help fix things late at night, little respect for your personal time, perpetual last minute meetings that are often cancelled. It's a nightmare. They'll tell you that the lower pay is because of job security and that the stock is great. Try signing on at $335 a share and selling at $18. As for the job security? Nope. You should expect a cold hearted phone call while you're driving your kids to school or walking your dog. The actual tech is garbage. Microservices have been largely implemented in ways that aren't maintainable, with design patterns mixed up left and right. There's multiple frameworks in every project that all accomplish the same thing so it's just a mess trying to work with it. It doesn't matter which team you're on, you will work with a project like this. Many newer technologies are being abandoned for legacy tech and hiring has been frozen in most countries other than ones where the dollar is cheap...if that doesn't give you a clear picture of where this company is at then I don't know what to tell you.
