QA managers (Managers/Senior Managers) actually don't do any work.. Literally no work.. To save themself they do highest level of micromanagement and most of time berates team members threatening them .Favoritism runs rampant in the team and for whatever reasons the higher management is either not aware of it or ignoring it completely but that is impacting the morale of the ground level engineers and on top of that there is no feedback mechanism where we can express issues to HR/Management. I am planning to quit as soon as I get another job as it is very toxic environment. There are good teams on engineering side because these people have real skills. Never I have seen a good environment destroyed by incompetent QA management and dragging everyone down with their toxic behavior.. If you are planning to join QA department be aware your life will be measurable..

-Execs are just figure heads that talk a good game -The hiring process was re-designed to hire fast and easy, resulting in a lot of bad hires and fast firing/terminations -Their stock completely tanked -They destroyed the engineering teams that were innovating
