historically bad culture (especially on Finance, mergers and acquisitions side)
Pros
- (Very) long term the Company is in solid position to be industry leader/winner - Many different levers of growth; is clear leader across several sales channels - Deeply entrenched within healthcare ecosystem - Jason G (CEO) is strong leader/storyteller/visionary
Cons
- The executive team (especially on the Finance, Mergers and acquisitions side) is inexplicably bad when it comes to culture - Employees across the board are frustrated, overworked, underpaid, underappreciated (which is ironic considering Teladoc is a mental health company). They are leaving in bunches. - Jason G seems like a good visionary but clearly is not focused on the culture. Culture starts at the top and is a reflection of the leaders. - Integrations following mergers and acquisitions have not gone well leading to mass departures
