Pros

Pay is decent but could be more competitive

Cons

Hard to have separation between work and personal life. Often asked to attend events/meeting outside of standard work hours. Things are often promoted as optional, but management will scrutinize you if you don't attend.

Pros

Good as an alternative route into teaching.

Cons

1. The program is not thorough. Many of the learning and development coaches have only been teaching for 2 years during their corps years, or seldom more than 5. This is also often at charter schools. 2. I was punished for my LDD's lack of organization. I was accused of missing meetings with them when my manager(s) never reached out to schedule any meetings. 3. There were no corps members who were members of certain minority groups left by the middle of the year. This speaks for itself.
