      Onsite opportunities; good for freshers to gain experience

      Cons

      Any dissonance is disaster. Too much power to managers who call themselved resource managers as they cannot manage projects. But these managers are very good at screwing people and getting things done. Just follow the instructions. Not enough concern for employee work life balance. Experienced people avoid the company.

      Management is taking advantage of the recession.. Never get into such a company when the markets are not so good.

      If you know to build a close relationship with your manager, you can stay back in the company and get a abroad offer for now and then

      Company makes record profits but not considering the welfare of the company. The are cautious of the future of the company but not for the employee

      Pros

      Learning.But this would require that you land up in a project where there are good technologies used.Then you may be able to learn things.But yes learning might have to be self managed as most of the middle level managers are technically zero.

      Cons

      Lots of downsides. Appraisal is a mere eyewash.Not at all transparent. No recognition given for the efforts you put in. Really bad management. Your immediate middle level managers are white elephants.Technically incompetent people and don't have management skills.They just are after extracting the work from you without giving any recognition or appreciation for your efforts.
