Pros

People on the ground are great - you can make some good friends commiserating.

Cons

Senior management is abysmal, with no interest in anything other than the almighty dollar - no matter how many underpaid underlings they burn out and throw away. Pay is mediocre to poor for the industry/area and company relies almost entirely on permalancers for production. There used to be a company culture but not anymore. Sell sell sell. That’s all anyone cares about there. Benefits/insurance offerings are so-so and change every year. Bad managerial habit of completely ignoring massive structural issues and burning people out because they won’t properly staff. Not a good place to work anymore sadly.

Pros

Some wonderful individuals within a drastically flawed company

Cons

Didn’t want to leave a review, but couldn’t in good conscience pass on an opportunity to stop others from making this mistake. Culture, opportunities and vision are all non-existent at Tastemade. There is a reason that managerial and communication issues are referenced in nearly every review. There is a reason that at least one person leaves the company every week. Someone below said it best — “actually build, and invest in, a company culture instead of just saying there is one.” Unlimited vacation days and free snacks mean nothing in an environment where superiors have such a horrifying lack of respect for those working under them. If you’re looking for a sign, this is it. Do not work here. All of the negative reviews are beyond warranted. Nobody deserves to spend their days working in such a miserable environment.
