Pros

The biggest perk is the very generous multbrand discount. The corporate location at HY is in an up and coming neighborhood located right on the highline. Large degree of flexibility and the ability to work remotely twice a week (thats the company policy but varies based on the department). Competitive benefits and annual bonus. Summer Fridays from Memorial Day thru Labor Day and a good amount of holidays. Vacation time generous and sick time only 10 days (used to have 30).

Cons

Biggest downside by far is the pace in which everyone is forced to work. This is NOT fast paced. This is supersonic speed. Too much transformation/change within a short period of time. Multiple new system implementations (done simultaneously) have caused many challenges and disruptions to the business. My opinion is that this environment has made it acceptable NOT to take accountability for mistakes because it is understood that everyone is extremely busy. Many emails go unread because of flooded inboxes. Many unproductive meetings scheduled (have a meeting to talk about the next meeting) and typically includes too many players. Work/life balance on the finance team has tipped to almost none. There is an expectation to answer emails after work hours, during weekends and on vacation. Ten years ago this was an ideal place to work (competent people, resources and fair expectations) but that has declined drastically. Seems to me the company overall does not care about employee retention because everyone has become expendable. New Hires have a hard time getting acclimated to their roles because of the chaotic environment. Poor communication from upper management and almost no training so new hires are forced to "sink or swim". Because of the lack of training you will find that many new hires aren’t even aware of the full scope of their job responsibilities. Very difficult to partner with someone if they don't know what their responsibilities are. Last thing... the NJ corporate office is built on swamp land and has a very depressing feel.

Pros

• Decent benefits and insurance package • Comfortable pantry and office environment

Cons

• Leadership in Marketing shows poor management — instead of guiding, they often project their own frustrations onto the team • Recognition for contributions is almost non-existent, even after years of dedication • No clear promotion pathway or structured framework for progression, making career advancement nearly impossible • Many long-tenured employees (6 years and above) remain in the same positions, not growth-minded and simply staying for comfort — which sets the tone for a stagnant culture • Advancement is blocked by favoritism and lack of transparency • Cliquish and political team environment discourages true collaboration • Feedback isn’t genuinely welcomed, leaving employees disengaged • Severely over worked.

Pros

The benefits are amazing 20 days PTO in addition to sick time, summer fridays all year round, hybrid, excellent health insurance I paid almost nothing out of pocket each paycheck, bonus 10% based on how well the business does, 401K matching up to 5%. onsite discounted cafeteria with sushi bar, higher pay than some places, flexible schedule and cool events. I had a mostly good team but it can really depend.

Cons

Departments have very uneven budgets one will have huge parties while the other is scrimping by and doesn't get the same benefits. A corporate strategic culture that can undercut people by senior management. They do reorganizations which really is a strategic layoff so they don't have to report it and affect stock and the business. Many people "retired" early and others had their positions eliminated due to budget but then new roles will open up and people will get promoted at the expense of others who lost their roles. They are nice to employees' faces. They will tell people that they will have growth and development and that things are doing well and provide trust and reassurance and then cut people out of nowhere. Managers do not go to bat for their employees.
