      Pros

      Tableau has a fun, transparent, and most importantly *collaborative* culture. People are smart and they work hard here. There's energy and optimism in the air because we all believe in the leadership and our products. An innovative company that emphasizes R&D to extend their market-leading position - this is a company that's dong all the right things. Where I came from previously, departments battle each other and managers are more concerned with building their own fiefdoms than putting company/customers' interests ahead (sound familiar?) and I can honestly say I haven't seen a trace of that here. I always thought one of those "best companies" to work for published in various articles only exist in silicon valley; I can't believe I'm actually working for one. Pinch me, I must be dreaming....

      Cons

      Tableau does not pay the highest salary. Unless you're a rock $tar $oftware engineer, then you can write your own golden ticket.

      The company culture is great, everyone is friendly and helpful. Fun, Young, Friendly Company!

      Cons

      Still young, more room to grow. Would love to have more reach to more Asian countries. Still need to move more towards Global Company rather than US based, will eventually get there.
