      Pros

      Fantastic culture, incredible product, smart management, savvy marketing, successful sales team, strong support operations. You can work your whole life and never hit a company or a group of intelligent and motivated people like this.

      Cons

      It's getting big - harder to scale. Lots more confusion about who does what and what's the right thing to do since there are so many new people.

      Pros

      Awesome culture reinforced by a very strong management team. Unique and innovative product. Smart, talented, humble people make working at Tableau a great experience day-to-day. Outstanding company vision that is shared by every employee. Incredibly loyal and fanatical customer base.

      Cons

      Sales comp plans are mediocre. The land-and-expand sales model skews chances of success toward reps with more mature customers with a high install base. Simple products and pricing is nice, but there's limited flexibility to get creative with deals.

      A good place with aggressive growth

      Pros

      The company has great products with high demand and good brand awareness. Working as a Sales Area Manager for nearly 3 years I have seen the team grow from around 20 to a 100 plus and management make the long serving employees feel appreciated, always willing to take advice and thoughts on how things are going. I know other people have had bad experience with the management team, certainly in EMEA (as most of the management have been externally hired and have less experience than the actual sales team!!) but overall very good - the kitchen with free food is a huge bonus.

      Cons

      Hours can be long - it's often frowned upon to leave any time before 6pm (even if you started at 7am!) - if you don't integrate well with the team and management (make yourself heard) you could find yourself out of the door very quickly (a few people were literally collected at their desk and asked to leave after failing probation) - but I would stress that this is not common - and most of the people thath ave been hired have been very successful.
