Pros

It's work from home so you can work in your pajamas if you like. Offers decent benefits package even for seasonal employees. Depending upon the project you get the hours and bonuses can be very good as well.

Cons

Although it's work from home, you must have a quiet noise and distraction free environment. They'll dock your performance if there's a bunch of background noise in your calls. Logging into their required systems can be a major headache and take over an hour during busy time periods. Rather than fixing the slow systems they'll blame it on your pc or network when a huge number of people are also experiencing the issue. They won't pay you for the time it takes to login to their main system even though where I live this is in violation of the labor laws. While in training the entire class was encouraged to work off the clock to catch up on the training courses that were late or past due because of their slow system issues.

Pros

i can't think of a single pro. It's not the calls that make the job stressful, it's the management and coaches that make it terrible.

Cons

No training structure. After in class training in which 2 students took over class and learning time because they didn't pay attention, we were placed on calls. Basically sink or swim. Coaches are rude, and contradict each other (although some were very nice.) I've had coaches tell me that other coaches didnt know what they were talking about. Most coaches acted like you were bothering them. I actually had to ask a coach if I was bothering him by making him do his job. They lack the empathy they demand from you. They expect your calls to be under 5-7 minutes even in training. This wouldn't be a problem if the coaches didn't take most of the time to get to you to help. I had to wait 30 minutes for assistance my first day of nesting. They only care about numbers, and aren't afraid to let you know. They wouldn't have such a high turnaround if they had integrity and knew how to treat others. I have literally been told customers are liars and it's not your problem whatever hardship the customer is going through, just get them off the phone.

Pros

One of the best things about working for TTEC is that they promote growth from within. There are frequent coaching sessions to help you improve and succeed at the job. The benefits are outstanding as well.

Cons

With an call center, schedules depend on business needs. Schedules can change according to what is needed so when working here you truly need open availability.
