Pros

TD Bank has the potential to be a really good company, but needs improvement in several areas.

Cons

Extremely toxic work environment and difficult work culture: -- Was the target of deliberate/intentional ongoing harassment and psychological, gaslighting abuse from very immature (a mild description), unprofessional managers and coworkers. It became a game to see if they could force me to leave my employment voluntarily and/or set me up to be fired for cause. HR was contacted on several occasions, and apparently did nothing as the harassment continued. On occasions, customer service was also affected by staff immaturity and unprofessionalism. -- Systems, processes, and training need to be improved so that customers transactions, questions, and issues are efficiently addressed and resolved, and to provide employees with the resources and on-the-job training to assist customers. -- Too much focus on sales, there needs to be more emphasis on customer service.

Pros

No pros at all, I regret working here.

Cons

There are no clear policies or procedures. They micromanage people in all the worst ways. HR does not care about employees being disrespected by management. Senior leaders still have no plan to remedy the AML failures. The technology is in the Stone Age.

Pros

you work fully from home Training was decent nothing else to say

Cons

BACK to BACK calls all day every single day you'll get reprimanded for taking a single minute between calls, you're expected to be a call-taking machine that operates non stop for hours As a rep, you're at the very bottom of the basket, meaning every other staff member from any other department will treat you like disposable garbage your manager's only purpose is to lynch you. They do no other work but to monitor you and make sure they're squeezing you dry. they'll send you a block of text if you're 30 seconds late from your 30mn lunch break. you're expected to not only wrap up calls in under 400 seconds, but to also make SALES. You gotta push for things like Balance transfers, AND get green reviews from customers. You're just a number. the lowest of the low. Nobody wants to stay here, that's why the turnover is so high and they're constantly hiring. TD doesn't want happy employees that stick around, they're a sweatshop that squeezes the life out of newcomers, then throw them down the ditch to replace with with a new fresh batch of new arrivals. I worked for TD a year and now i have panic attacks and started to lose my hair. Do yourself a favor and RUN.
