Pros

Challenging work, great people to work with, varied career paths and excellent career opportunities, financially sound company, remuneration geared to performance (bonus component), pretty good benefits.

Cons

Work/life balance can be challenging especially in more Senior roles. The culture is changing in past 2-4 years, with their motto of 'people make the difference' ringing a bit hollow. They still say it, but it's really just numbers and results that seem to truly matter. Volume of change introduced in recent 2-4 years has not been executed well, leading to decreased staff morale and productivity.

Pros

Amazing job...if you are in it for the right reasons. I left td after 10 years...why? Because I couldn't do for the customers as I had before. I stayed there to make others life a little bit easier. Top performer awarded. And loved by customers. I knew this would happen. So I quit a 35.00 hour job for people I will never know because I will not give ppl things they don't need..or tell me how long I can speak with them. My customers were my work. I took a moral stand when all this started.I feel for my fellow employees. It's breaks my heart because we were there for you! It'd a loss when you give them everything you can. We were a Canadian bank. This is the worst mistake they will ever make. A foreign American ceo? Who's best interest are we going to focus on? I loved my managers. I loved my customers..td was all about our customers. Pls know that the people I worked with felt the same way. I chose to walk away ..because my job was harder when I couldn't do what's right. They would never know.... I hope everyone who worked so hard to get where you are realize this has nothing to do with you.those hung on did it because of them. I'm sorry to all of you.

Cons

I hope our customers know that td bred us to be there for you! 1 bank in Canada we did that. Our customer driven employees did that. Because we did for you what was right. I left and although it was hard I'm able to do what I love and it's about my customer. Td made a HUGE mistake. You won't recover here in Canada I hope you enjoy saving the US. I gave everything to this bank.. and I left because it lost what was right. TD get it together or plan to be popular in the states only. Do yourself a favor make sure one of us comes in to train them. So they care as much as we did.. or you will fail to do what has made us who we are...#1 in customer service.

Many opportunities for advancement. If you excel here you can excel and exceed expectations at any other bank. Wonderful benefits and PTO.

Cons

Understaffed and expect you to do the job of 3 employees while raising sales goals and expecting you to meet unrealistic expectations. Pay is low for the position and work expected.
