Pros

New employees may purchase up to two T-Mobile devices at a discount and receive a generous rate plan for a low monthly fee. And it is easy to keep up with the latest technology and products through our handset upgrade program. Handsets are often given away as a reward for a job well done or often-times to the entire company for a bonus that had been met in a prior month. At T-Mobile, everyone is a recruiter! All employees can earn up to $3,000 per hire for referring exceptionally talented people to T-Mobile. All employees have access to a wide variety of resources for themselves and their families that include counseling, legal services, child-care referral, and financial services. Balancing work and family is always a challenge. At T-Mobile they aim to tip the scales in the employees favor with the Childcare Subsidy Program. Eligible employees can receive $125 a month to help with child-care costs.

Pros

There are plenty of opportunities to advance if you know where to look. Management chooses friendly and positive people for staffing, A+ personalities. The company really does believe in customer first, with higher ratings than other carriers and better ethics. Positive people and communication with reps, brand name you can be proud of.

Cons

There have been decreases in commissions and pay, with less opportunity to make larger commissions with repeated cut in pay structures. Also, with any wireless carrier, you cannot control traffic in store, so some months much worse off than others. There are no dedicated customer service, so it is luck of the draw handling customer issues that can take up time better spent on selling.

Pros

Employee discounts, and the company promotes from within. They also close an hour to two hours earlier then other retail stores. Small employee staff at each store so you dont feel like just a number while your at work. They periodically have sales contests where you can win awesome prizes like video game systems, vacations, phones etc.

Cons

No personal life, they never aprove your time off requests, you can never use your sick days. Compared to the other wireless providers we have the lowest compensation plan. They are always thinking of some horrible new technology that has too many stipulations the customer has to have to be able to sign up for it and then they demand we sell way too many of them or face written disciplinary actions.
