Interesting, ever changing world of telecommunications. T-Mobile is lead my marketeers - there are work and fun company communication events. At T-mobile, vacation and sick leave are combined in one bucket. For a healthy new employee, this could mean four weeks of "vacation".
Cons
Project timelines are sometimes not reasonable enough to deliver a quality product. Timelines are emphasized over quality of work. The project staff is matrixed to form a cross functional project team with developers, analyst and project manager under their own, individual management. This is inefficient. Payscale for IT technical developer and analyst positions were substandard for the market. Management turnover was excessive in my group - in three years, there were six management changes.
