Pros
You get out what you put in. If you have the sales drive and you don't mind cold calling A LOT of businesses in the Wash DC area, then this could be a very lucrative opportunity. I worked with some excellent people but I just hated making the calls. There were some associates that were pulling 10,000/month although granted it was pre-recession. Another pro was the fact that our local leadership was a master at his craft. He was just a great salesperson who was always respectful and knowledgeable to respective clients. He also placed a great emphasis on training the newer sales people. Corporate was also great in the fact that they would fly its sales people to Seattle Washington for training.
Cons
Again, you have to want to do sales. You need a thick skin for cold calling and you have to be persistent but respectful. This was simply not in my skills set.
