      Pros

      There are some quality people that work with Swissport and that have been in the industry with this company for 10,15,20+ years. My initial thought was this was a good sign; people tend not to leave.

      Cons

      There is a strong attempt by corporate to standardize globally, which is often times very unrealistic because of regional differences. The company is constantly pushing and pushing for more and more out of it's people without any compensation (cancelling annual pay raises and bonuses, but expecting people to work longer hours)

      Pros

      Starting pay is well above minimum wage and what most other companies start you at. Employees are very team work oriented. Part time shifts (only), so excellent as a second job or if youre currently a student.

      Cons

      Part time only. Shift length averages 3.5-4 hrs and a typical work week is about 20-25hrs. Job is outdoors and must be completed in any weather...rain, heat, cold, etc.,etc., (with the exception of thunder). Supervisors are a bit on the disorganized side, which can make for a chaotic and inefficient work environment. Company is VERY slow to train and certify employees in other areas of the job...which are necessary. Meaning you get stuck with crappy work details for a lot longer than your probationary period (3 months), and it also slows down the operation. Almost no opportunity for advancement. No health benefits.
