Pros

1. Reinsurance industry offers a lot to learn. 2. Cafeteria food is good.

Cons

1. Fearful environment in teams. Employees feel threatened by managers but are afraid to report it for the fear of their jobs. 2. Unit heads are completely unaware of this as there is no skip-level interaction at all. 3. Feedback is not well received by managers and they threaten people that careers will be ruined if we disagree with what they say. 4. There is no way to communicate our feedback about our managers without the manager knowing about it. We have been told that even the 'anonymous' surveys results can be traced back to the employee. 5. During induction, you are told about great policies such as 'Own The Way You Work', etc. But managers do not let you work from home or be flexible with work timings. 6. Salary is much lower than industry peers. 7. During annual pay hikes, only the fixed component is revised. The variable component (TAPI) remains the same for around 4-5 years irrespective of your performance. It feels like we are trapped with the manager and cannot raise our voice to anyone. The overall work environment is suffocating and demoralising. I would not recommend this firm to anyone.

Pros

The benefit is decent. 401k is pretty good. Nice cafeteria.

Cons

Treat employees with no respect. Often get ride of the senior employers with high salaries to reduce company cost. Lack of transparency and respect. Too much office politics. No talent development. Keep away from this s$$t hole.

Pros

401K and health insurance. Not one other thing. This company has gotten progressively worse each year.

Cons

Some truly awful people work here. They were the rudest, snottiest people I have come across. HR is worthless, and does nothing to stop issues that have been brought to them by multiple people from the same department. Managers are equally poor, many having no managerial skills or experience. Promotion are based on cliques and youth rather than experience, knowledge and professionalism. Bonuses get smaller each year and raises are minimal. Go elsewhere if you want to be happy in your career.
