Fun, but had it's challenges.

It was very fun being a culinary instructor.

Cons

Working nights and weekends was a downside. They also had a horrible policy of only allowing you to pay assistants minimum wage. That made it impossible to stay fully staffed. Upper management was not at all receptive to complaints on this issue either. This seems minor, but it will be the biggest challenge of the job.

The discount is good if you are trying to stock your kitchen

Cons

Management does not know how to manage; corporate is not only detached but also completely out of touch with the reality of running a store; the store at Phipps is filthy... the store management won't even clean the bathroom. The kitchen is filthy and falling apart.

Overall Good Company. Great products.

Cons

Pay for Kitchen Assistant should be the same as the retail sales associates. They work just as hard, if not harder. They get paid less just because their job isn't primarily sales based.
