Great if You are in to S&M

Generous discount Mostly great customers Great place to share culinary knowledge and ideas

Cons

Don't ask for time off-you won't get it. Management is rude and abusive. favoritism is rampant. new hires make more than 2yr.+ employees. managers have 3-4 day weekends and ALWAYS have a family crisis that they must take time off to attend to. ASST mgr. has his Iphone permanently implanted and his social life is top priority-don't ask him for help on the sales floor, he is too busy on his phone and will tell you so. Mgr. says everyone must stop complaining about him (asst. mgr.) after he asks how you feel about him. Associating with former manager will get you fired.

good discount & generous product incentives.

Cons

No hours, the pay is laughable, and employees aren't treated w/ much respect. All employees are heavily micromanaged w/o any allowance to think for themselves.

The customers can be great to talk to and help. Some wonderful people work there. You can learn a lot about cooking.

Cons

The management is very inconsistent. Some rules apply to only some employees and not others. New rules are not always posted. You are asked to be available to their needs and you never know how many hours you will be given week to week.
