Pros

A few fun employees discount card nothing else I just have to write at least 20 words so yeah

Cons

Everything. Pay is terrible, but they always underpay you anyway so may aswell just quit. Management is terrible, they don't know what they are doing, my assistant manager was 18 and only hired people because they were 'fit. Treated me so badly. Management only care about the favourite employees. I was working my hardest every day, as the only person who worked more than 45 hours a week, yet I didn't get any praise for this, but someone who worked 5 hours a week got praise for working so hard. ITS A WASTE OF TIME, WORST JOB EVER. :)

Pros

Retail is tiring, and it was no different working in Superdrug. You can have quiet days, but you're not often standing around.

Cons

I found it to be repetitive and not for someone who prefers challenges.

Pros

Staff Discount, interesting products, easy sales pitch, shop while you work.

Cons

Management were rubbish. She couldn't manage anything, and was unpleasant to staff. She tried to fire me because I bought loads of items and the one chocolate bar on the reduced section. I used my discount card to get money off items bought and apparently it was company policy not to use staff discount card on reduced items. I said I was sorry and gave her the 7p difference and she still gave me a written warning. This set the tone and quickly staff became divided which made an unpleasant working environment. They also won a competition for best displays which I created, turned out that my manager won some money for this and I got nothing, not even a thank you. When I asked for more hours (I only had 8 a week) she laughed in my face, later next month she employed a newbie who got 20 hours. This was the final straw.
