Pros

Overall, my experience at StreamElements has been extremely positive. I’m continually challenged and engaged. The work is both exciting and meaningful, and our mission truly resonates with me. 1. The company’s dedication to its mission and respect for its culture create a motivating work environment. 2. Communication is frequent and clear, especially about company strategy and progress, keeping everyone well-informed and aligned. 3. The leadership team is composed of genuinely passionate and good people. The atmosphere is casual and friendly while maintaining professionalism and commitment to ambitious goals. 4. The flexibility in balancing work and life is excellent, allowing me to manage both personal and professional responsibilities effectively.

Cons

As a young company, StreamElements operates in an extremely fast-paced environment, which can sometimes feel a bit chaotic. However, for most people, this dynamic pace is an advantage.

Pros

I've been working at StreamElements for 4 years now, and it's truly been an incredible experience. One of the things that stand out the most is how empowering the company culture is. StreamElements encourages employees at all levels to share their opinions and actively participate in meaningful strategic discussions. Your voice is heard, and your ideas are valued, which makes you feel truly included and appreciated. Career growth is also a major focus here. Managers genuinely care about your professional development and continuously encourage you to explore different career paths within the company. They provide mentorship, guidance, and opportunities that help you grow and thrive in your role. Another huge plus is the flexibility in working hours.

Cons

As a remote company operating across four different time zones, maintaining work-life balance can sometimes be challenging. Meetings and collaborations often span various time zones, which might require working odd hours occasionally. While the company offers competitive pay, there are currently no bonus structures in place. However, the overall compensation package is strong, and the salary is very fair for the work we do.

Pros

- Culture within team was great - Supervisors were approachable and communicative - Creators were generally fun to work with

Cons

- Disorganization within upper levels of orgs had a trickle-down effect that disrupted day-to-day operations on the ground - Some teams were understaffed/spread too thin - Job requirements rapidly evolved in ways that were not contemplated at hiring - The scheduling/planning around new initiatives was abysmal and the higher level executives/managers making those decisions could not really be reasoned with
