Pros

Freedom to own your projects without a lot of micro management, telecommuting is embraced, the product is beloved by customers, and has values based around inclusiveness and diversity

Cons

It is a very decentralized company unless you are based at the HQ in Israel, so expect most of your interaction to be over video conferencing. The following is a pro/con: like most companies, you have goals, so expect to regularly be accountable for your work. If you are acclimated to a less structured reporting of your weekly progress, this will be a change of pace.

Pros

- Fully remote work and flexible schedule - Good salary, little bureaucracy especially when it comes to equipment and licenses - Challenging and interesting work

Cons

- Multiple layoffs and lack of transparency from leadership - No clear company direction, promises were just promises - A lot of unaddressed technical debt in favor of building only for directly revenue generating products - Lack of structure and organization, even for such an old company - No extra benefits for remote employees besides IT equipment really - Work life balance will not exist, expect to be answering questions on Sundays, especially because of Israeli work week (which funnily enough was never explained to me until I researched it myself) Like the others said, most of the important people have either left or got laid off, it is very clear that creators and live tools are not the priority for leadership at all. It became clear you can be on the cutting block anytime once they introduced biweekly per person KPI measurements where you have to prove your job to management, or risk getting laid off in the next round. It's pretty clear leadership would rather lay off people without even knowing what the employees in question were doing or in charge of.
