I genuinely go to work every day with a smile on my face. The people are top-notch and all super motivated. At SE you have a ton of room for personal growth as you are really able to insert yourself into any area of the company. Things move at a very fast and exciting pace and you really feel like you are making a huge impact. The flexible remote work is ideal and salaries are very competitve.

Cons

As a remote company, timezones can sometime be tricky but the flexible work schedule always balances it out.

Pros

The flexible and remote work set up definitely helps you mix your work and home life. You are treated like an adult to manage your time and get on with your job. You get to work with intelligent and hard working people on an awesome product. There's also cool initiatives like the Creator Diversity People where you can see the positive wider impact of your work. People really care about what they do at the company and it's energising. Lots of effort is being made to get better at investing in people, so they know where they stand and where their future lies with the company.

Cons

Depends on how you like to work. It's fast paced and you'll be accountable for delivering. If this isn't how you like to work, this won't be the company for you. The company grew very quickly last year and needed more infrastructure in place to support that growth. Lessons have been learnt and there's a real commitment to put these learnings into action.
