      Pros

      Steady Work Bonuses No one gets fired but that is noy always a good thing.

      Cons

      Micromanagement Passive Agressive Hell Too many people who know nothing! Underqualified IT Workers Hostile Work Enviornment Recruiters lie about great raises and bonuses No opprotunities to grow 30-40 Hours of meetings. 40 hours of overtime is the norm! Too many cooks in the kitchen

      The higher you go on the ladder, the worse the management gets

      Pros

      Some very hard working store employees who really buy into the Starbucks ideiology and work ethic.

      Cons

      District Managers and above for the most part are appalling. They talk at you, look to blame people for their mistakes. Many promoted because of political correctness instead of performance. Too many act like little Cesars by establishing an inner circle that is impossible to penetrate. Many DM's are young and have no education thereby bringing an unprofessional and immature demeanor to their district. They cannot relate to older, more seasoned subordinates. Store Managers are not really managers but really first amongst equals. They clean toilets and make drinks when they should be managing the store. A SM is on call 24/7 with little to no support from their DM and 100% of the blame. Advancement is limited to how connected and Politically Correct you are.
