Job and duties were good. OT not a problem if you had to get something done.

Cons

Management at all levels is sorely lacking. Micromanagement is a problem as well there is no respect for your time or timelines if you are one of the worker bees. All about the bottom line and will take advantage of you. You got to be careful who you cross. Like high school as many are gossipy.

Pros

Safety conscious, often obsessively so. Reasonable salary and benefits, at least at the senior technical level.

Cons

As another reviewer said, they'll sing your praises when they're trying to win work, but watch for blood on your shoes when work dries up. Unless, of course, you're one of 67 vice presidents, a much larger and equally ineffective cadre of principals and associates, or one of their friends. Those people keep their 250K+ jobs and get promoted - you know, the old search for the guilty and punishment of the innocent routine.

Education. professional development. membership reimbursement for operations staff. Salary increase upon earning licenses for Engineering or Architecture.

Cons

Over communication regarding benefits (always high level) making it hard for the employee to understand. Poor communication when making internal changes to procedures. Inconsistent compensation among non operation staff.
