Fun field work, diverse projects, good people. Nice offices.

Cons

Management does not appear to know what they are doing. They are not aware of the abilities (or not) of their staff. There are a lot of incompetent staff there going unnoticed because the review process involves writing your own yearly review with minimal checking from supervisors. No one keeps track of how you are actually developing or if you have poor skills. They have a disorganized hiring process, when I was hired there was confusion for the actual position I was hired for. I didnt want to do the job some thought I was hired for so I just got involved in different things and no one seemed to notice.

Pay and benefits are good.

Cons

Top heavy company that works anyone under senior management to the bone. Company is constantly acquiring other companies to keep stock looking good, but spends relatively little time, money or effort on companies after they have been absorbed. Trying to find answers is next to impossible. Big opportunities to fail, very little feedback.

Lots of decent things - benefits, friendly people, chance to work on big projects. Typically a 40 hour work week, with exceptions.

Cons

Pressure to hit utilization goals, even when during a dip in the natural employment cycle that all companies endure. CEO makes more as a yearly bonus than I'll make in my life.
