-Stable Paychecks -Challenging and Intellectually Stimulating -Good Management

Cons

Unpredictable Schedule (that's expected) Probably more than 2000 hours in the year is expected including field work. Wasn't a problem for me but that is a lot for most people. Poor compensation for standby days which there too many. -There wasn't a clear progression for me besides specializing in geomatics or airbo

Most of the group below leadership is great, fun team

Cons

Leadership is not willing to let you shine, they want to control every process and be the main lead. Your career will not grow here. No creativity- this is a team that cares more about "getting things done" than doing things well. Projects are bad, working mostly on government jobs, industrial work, etc. If you are looking for local creative jobs- this isn't it. Not forward thinking- not willing to look at other ways of doing things, it's leaderships way or no way. Leadership picks favorites- they will get the "good" work. The rest of the team is pretty much left to figure things out themselves.

- Great co-workers and even some lower level management! - Decent pay, but nothing impressive - Great work-life balance

Cons

- Not a lot of growth opportunities - Local management disconnected and often absent - Safety measures could use some improving - Get back to some of the Cardno health and life insurance benefits
