Pros

Stanford is an incubator of ideas and breeds quality academics, professionals and industry leaders. Compensation is competitive and you feel a true team environment.

Cons

Stanford has been around for a long time, so there's no surprise that the bureaucracy in this academic environment can sometimes be slow to move.
