      Pros

      Small, entrepreneurial group with the benefits of a balance sheet and a larger bank behind it. Focus on mining and commodities, but focus on other areas as well.

      Cons

      Unclear strategy and uncertain commitment to Asia. Surprising amount of politics for such a small operation. People fired all the time based on the whims of senior management in London and South Africa.
