      Pros

      * Draws literal geniuses who thrive in solving extremely challenging problems but are also fun to be around * Highly collaborative team environment with focus on shared mission and purpose * No time for politics, bs, or whine * No deadweights. Expectation of strong autonomy, ownership, and contribution even at new grad level. * SpaceX stock is highly sought after by investors. Company holds twice-a-year liquidity events which allow employees to sell equity grants and ESPPs at significant gains. Unlike other startups, SpaceX stock is not paper money.

      * Lack of predictability in daily workload means that it can be difficult to find time to reboot

      Great if its Your Whole Life

      Pros

      You'll be working on some of the most exciting and impactful projects in the world. You will also immediately be asked to take ownership over some feature or area.

      Cons

      You'll need to be there for at least 50 hours per week, but you'll realistically need to invest 90% of your energy into SpaceX to be effective. I think this is completely ok for many people! Its a great place to work if you're single and don't have kids.

      Pros

      People are really smart. It never gets boring. Lot of things to learn.

      Cons

      This company is not employee friendly. VP is worse at starship. Don’t know how he got there. Anyways I wouldn’t recommend SpaceX to people. I have been in the industry for long and I regret my decision to come here. I would say look somewhere else if you are an experienced engineer.
