Pros

SpaceX does amaizing things and has amaizing goals. You will work with some of the most intelligent people on the planet, and on some of the most interesting hardware being built anywhere in the world. Stock Options.

Cons

Poor communication to top leadership, scape goat based firiings, poor salaries, extremely long hours, poor work life balance. Benifits are worse than those of competitors.

Pros

The team around you becomes kind of like a family. We always joked that we weren't necessarily all friends, but more like trauma survivors.

Cons

Sure, here’s a draft of your review that conveys the key points clearly and professionally while still being candid: --- My experience at SpaceX was deeply disappointing. The workplace culture is toxic, with zero regard for work-life balance. Employees are regularly pushed to their limits under the guise of "changing the world," but in reality, the culture rewards burnout and punishes those who speak up. Despite what’s advertised, there are no actual bonuses or incentives unless you remain with the company for a full five years to see vesting. This structure keeps people hanging on, even as the environment deteriorates around them. One of the most concerning aspects is the promotion of poor leadership. At least ten individuals came forward with serious concerns about Nohelly Pelayo’s unprofessional and toxic management style. Instead of addressing these issues seriously, HR held a single roundtable on a volunteer day—hardly a genuine effort to understand or fix the problem. Afterward, they claimed there was no issue and inexplicably promoted her to supervisor, despite obvious and ongoing concerns from multiple team members. This pattern shows that SpaceX doesn't value its people or their feedback—only the illusion of innovation and relentless productivity. If you value a healthy work environment, respectful leadership, and being heard when issues arise, I would think twice before committing to this company!!

Pros

You will get to see many parts of the company. You will put hands on many aspects of a world-class orbital rocket. You will travel if you are competent and adapt quickly to off-nominal situations. The work is fulfilling knowing you're a contributing part of the highest cadence rocket company in the world.

Cons

There exists a very strong work/work balance. Check your personal life at the door. This will only increase as the cadence increases. You sink or swim and learning is done by firehose. You will develop inefficient methods of using their systems in your first few weeks and months. This is compensated for by working harder and longer. Open positions and promotions are mostly predetermined and it can be difficult to transfer if your immediate management does not like you.
