Pros

I loved being able to take free classes after my shift. I would also let a friend come in and use my guest pass while I worked. We also get a pretty decent discount on apparel at a certain time of the month.

Cons

I hated the energy at Soul when I worked here. The assistant managers were very fake and pretend nice and they all were in their own clique. They never lifted a finger and expect all the part-time employees to do everything. This space is 2 floors and I remember I had to bring a ton of water bottle packages upstairs once by myself (easily 10 trips holding 20 lbs or more.) They just watched me. It was awful lol. They would always make you feel so weird if you came in on your day off to take a class. Almost trying to guilt you for not working. I think I was one of the only not white employees working at the front desk (hello.. pls diversify your team....)

Fun job, iffy company

Pros

Free rides, free workout partnerships with other companies

Cons

Company is very messy when it comes to actually taking care of it's employees, pay was not worth the amount of work, and turn over rate and random budget cuts (and cuts of hours) are constant throughout the year.

Room for Improvement

Pros

The people. The staff, instructors, and riders make it worth it.

Cons

I think HQ is focused too much on growth, leading the existing studios to not feel important. It is also extremely hard to grow your career - it is easy to get stuck in your current role and not have anywhere to go from there.
