I used to work at Body and Soul, sports club L.A, , Barrys Bootcamp the exercise place!!!!

Always put a smile on your face, FIX the problem and always remember the clients first name to make them feel like they can complain about something to you.

-Fun staff environment -Free workouts and benefits with cross partnerships -Can be growth opportunities if in new market or willing to move to a different market -Every day is different and you are always learning new skills with customer service

Cons

-Also an elitist environment so many customers are entitled and rude -The spin instructors are paid way more than the management -Instructors can also be very demanding and celebrity-minded asking you to do things they can do themselves -Can be growth opportunities but it is also extremely competitive and usually goes to seniority -Pay is not that great for how much you actually end up staying overtime and covering those who called -Must work weekends and its hard to take actual vacation time without someone else needing to cover you
