Easy job, tasks weren't demanding mentally or physically. Loads of downtime if you're studio crew and most employees will just go on their phone during classes. Free classes and being able to bring multiple guests to classes for free plus a 50% off retail discount were really nice.

Cons

Short and bad hours, 5:15am shifts weren't ideal and I wasn't able to get more than about 10 hours per week despite the job listing saying 20 hours. The work environment felt like a sorority. Girls were cliquey and you won't fit in if you're new. I was often left out of conversations and sent to the bathroom to clean while the other employees stood at the front desk and chatted. Studio crew is basically a cleaning crew. Most tasks were just cleaning bathrooms and bikes and not much actual front desk work.

Pros

The people really make this job! Even though you're working hard and the job can be physically demanding, the people at SoulCycle make it such a fun place to work!

Cons

It was hard to find a routine with some shifts starting at 5:30am and others starting at 3:30pm, but that is also part of the trade off for part time work.
