Pros

Management looks out for each other for the most part if you are in their so called circle. You will have one free meal a day. If you just want to collect a check for baby sitting employees this is the right place.

Cons

Members of senior Management are quick to point the finger and throw you under the bus, instead of giving you the proper training or coaching. Management here are very reactive instead of proactive to get the job done. They get audited frequently by the airlines and corporate lsg and instead of fixing the root cause they often put a bandaid on the situation.

Pros

The biggest pro of working for LSG Sky Chefs is the opportunity for advancement within the company. They have over 200 locations world wide with a vast array of job opportunities.

Cons

The biggest con is that it can take a long time to get a normal schedule. The airline catering industry is open 365 days a year and many locations never close. This can make it difficult to find a work life balance.

Pros

Good salary and free meals, easy interview process, a lot of overtime available. The company provides uniforms and shoes and other equipment.

Cons

• Dangerous place to work because some drivers drive in an unsafe way. The management knows about this problem but only punishes some of them; depend on just personal feelings about the employee and if they are or not a family member of the management. • Some supervisors from dispatch are very rude, one day a supervisor call stupid to another employee, even in front of others and even in front of airport security. • If you made a mistake, they make public the mistake, say the name of the employee, print out and put in a way everybody can see it, without any kind of mercy. • Some trucks have serious problems that can put in risk the security and life but even when I notify about it, the mechanics do not repair well some of those problems. • Some supervisors do not show any mercy at the time some employees make a mistake and add information that is totally false in order to danger the reputation of the employee and terminate them at their convenience. • Many employees really enjoy to damage the reputation of the other employees and the management believes them even when sometimes is totally false. • Very stressful work environments, sometimes not time even for lunch, violate in this way the law of Texas about it. • New hires get training by others employees who are afraid that the new hire takes his jobs, very rude during the training, complaint that train for free and not provide a good training, a then complain that the new hire is not good. • Retention rate is very low, many quits because unfair treatment from some supervisors and other co-workers.
