      Pros

      Well established firm that follows their values. The people are great and most of the time the office has a great cultural and moral.

      Cons

      Their benefits can be better. They don't offer too many sick days and vacation days and they don't allow negotiation for more. Also working from home can be a challenge with their vpn and external connection. Promotions are slow but they do allow for movement within the firm.

      Pros

      Skanska is safety focused and the needs of the individuals are met with patience and respect. Starting the day with a 'stretch and flex' and a construction plan overview, and having supervisor inspections throughout the day keep the job running smoothly. Focusing on ethics and inclusion has also been inspiring.

      Cons

      From the standpoint of an employee who is not in the office: There is not enough access to in-depth training and explanation of important details such as blueprints, construction plans, and overall project trajectory/goals. Having more information, possibly through the Skanska website or other online locations, could alert managment to potential issues or concerns before they become problematic.

      Pros

      Fair company with values that they stick by, large complex and interesting work. Good benefits, 401K matching, and Stock ownership program

      Cons

      Extremely Large and you are a number no matter what they say. Bonus is based on performance of entire country not just project specific.
