Pros

Right when you start at Sixt as a Rental Sales Agent you will get a free trip to Florida for paid training! This job will be a great addition to your resume because you work in all areas of the business: customer service, sales, marketing, and communications. Since it is a growing business they have many opportunities for advancement. Hard work and dedication are essential for success at Sixt as well as a willingness to be competitive. It's hourly pay plus commission so it really encourages you to become creative and improve on social skills. The job is not boring and will always keep you entertained!

Cons

In the beginning when learning how to operate the computer system and trying to remember vehicle features, extra product packages, terms and conditions, and proper sales etiquette it can be overwhelming since it's so fast paced. It's very true that this job may just take over your life and become stressful at times. Irregular hours and constant changes make it hard to have any kind of routine.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We recognize that this industry is very fast-paced, which is why we try our best to give our candidates a realistic picture of the positions during the interview process. Furthermore, we have recently modified our training program to allow each agent to begin in basic training and to spend 3 full days covering the systems, etc. you have mentioned here. If you have a specific individual you feel would benefit from a discussion on patience we would appreciate you letting us know (HR: 954-874-1793), so we can ensure no other new employees will experience this uncomfortable atmosphere.

Pros

Get to travel for training every 3 months/quarter for training and work evaluation. Can move up the corporate ladder easily with the right experience and graduating University with a BS degree. Pay is excellent compared to the competitors. Depending on your manager: you get treated very respectfully, will work around your school schedule, and if you have any exams or emergencies, you can take unpaid time off however long you need. Definitely recommend to any student looking for a company who treats their employees with respect, great pay, and works around your schedule whenever you have an issue or problem.

Cons

Must graduate with any BS degree if you want to move up and get promoted. Everyone including management is between 21-27, which makes you feel like your somewhat back in high school as some other reviewers pointed out.

Pros

They are not picky when it comes to who they hire. Not a lot og people are willing to put up with this kind of treatment so if you are willing to work 50 hours a week for a small salary you are hired.

Cons

It is seriously like being back in Kindergarden. Nobody knows what they are doing, everyone blames evryone else for their mistakes. It is a complete mess, employees are constantly stressed out, the work environment is very negative. Employees get promoted based on who they are friends with and whether they come in to work on the weekends. This company is honestly only a decent option for frsh college grads with no experience or experienced professionals who are so incompetent that no other company will hire them. Smarter colleagues leave after a short period of time to get a real job.

Our trainee program requires paid 49,5 work hours per week. As our organisation is just three years operating in the US and our location network is constantly growing we are promoting many recent graduates in responsible positions. These are fast career opportunities for many but sometimes can be misunderstood by few. I would like to listen and learn how you feel about working at Sixt. Please contact me. Kind regards Gaddy Fernandez
