Thanks for reviewing the Customer Service Associate role with Sixt in Los Angeles. We hope you have a lot of success with our company now and in the future. The growth process within Sixt is very quick. If you are performing well and show dedication and reliability your managers will consider you for a higher level position. We do have a set career path. Starting as a CSA we would like you in this role for 6 months to a year before you move into an RSA role. However, everyone’s path is different! I recommend reaching out to your Branch Manager with inquires on the next step for your career with Sixt.

Pros

Sixt pays better than Enterprise, Hertz, and Avis. Faster promotion potential than competitors. Employees are vibrant because mostly younger people working here. You receive free uniforms. Discounted rates to rent cars.

Cons

Long irregular hours: open 7am-7pm. morning shift start at 6:30am, evening shift ends at 7:30pm. It opens during holidays. So it's great for customers, and more commission for employees. But those wanting to make more money have to sacrifice holiday breaks.

Pros

Once you accumulate PTOs, you are free to take time off pretty much whenever you request, with the exception of blocked dates. My manager is cool, but that's not the case at most locations.

Cons

Constantly overbooked on cars and do not have enough cars for the reservations. A lot of upset customers yelling at you

Thank you for reviewing Sixt Orlando. Congratulations on your success as a Senior RSA with us! We are happy to hear that you appreciate your management team and their flexibility. Our fleet and management team work very hard to forecast demand for vehicles for each day, even down to the hour. Depending on the time of year or amount of walk-up customers that do not have a reservations we may be overbooked in some cases. Customers may also delay their return of a vehicle that is reserved for an incoming customers. Therefore, several factors can cause overbooking. We understand the added pressure that this may cause the Rental Sales Agent, so we try to take every measure to successfully accommodate the customer and offer alternatives for the agent to present. We appreciate your feedback and will continue to closely monitor our bookings to minimize this occurrence at the counter! We encourage you to further discuss any additional concerns with your management team so that we can better assist you.
