Pros

Nice people, decent and cheap lunch, located right next to the s-bahn.

Cons

For a family-run business that promotes family and positive work culture, it is more like a broken home. Hire and fire culture is rampant. As of late there has been a strong sense of nepotism when it comes to new hires, especially in management roles. Every year boasts record sales, with no real rewards given to staff for aiding in those numbers. Staff just need to push to make the next year even better. Pay increases are a touchy subject and often need to be massively motivated for, even if the reason for a raise is clear, for example, years of service, performance etc.

Dear former employee, thank you very much for your evaluation. We find it very unfortunate that you have gathered these impressions during your time at SIXT. We would like to take the opportunity to invite you to a personal interview with Friederike Reichenberger, President People and Culture, to learn more about the circumstances. Just send us a short message to karriere@sixt.com with the subject "Glassdoor" and we will get back to you. Thank you very much for your feedback. Best regards
