After Infosys acquired Simplus, bonuses were cut, promotions were frozen and dozens of consultants with high utilization rate were terminated as the company pursuing restructuring and reduction of force

After keeping people hanging for months, Simplus only informed the Philippine team RIGHT AFTER the company outing that they were not giving out salary increases this year. They were willing to spend on the venue and fly out the executives from the US for a team-building event. I find it very out of touch that they prioritize frivolous matters rather than rewarding their employees. At the end of the day, people prefer money over a giant pizza party!
